The original dive headlamp is back, brighter than ever! Decades ago, PTec introduced a diveable headlamp. Next, we shifted focus to brighter handheld lights. Eventually the chatter joined into one request too loud to ignore: "Bring back the SCUBA headlamp!” We began with our dive-proven platform, adding a 100 lumen LED module and custom optic that delivers the focused beam that divers need. Roam can be used as a standard headlamp, and our custom adapter allows mounting on many masks or any GoPro-style mount. Roam promises reliable, hands-free light, now brighter and more efficient. Waterproof to 45 meters.

FOCUSED NARROW BEAMS

This pattern creates a long, powerful beam of light excellent for illuminating distant areas. The resulting long-throw spotlight is especially well-suited for night hiking and search and rescue.

 

 

 

LED OPTIC COLLIMATOR

A collimator gathers all available light from an LED in the form of scattered rays and re-emits the light as parallel rays, making it more optically efficient than a standard reflector. Princeton Tec calibrates each collimator to the type of LED and application of each light. With proprietary optimized collimator / lens systems, Princeton Tec continues to advance LED technology.

Lumen 100

The light output of Princeton Tec lights is measured in lumens. A lumen is unit derived by the International System of Units (SI) for measuring light output.

 

MAXBRIGHT LED

The highest quality LED available from Lumileds, Princeton Tec’s Maxbright LED is extremely bright and efficient. This single LED emits a smooth, powerful, white light useful for a wide range of tasks. Princeton Tec uses collimators or reflectors with the Maxbright LED depending upon the application.
